How much education has your child missed?
If it is 95%, this means your child misses 10 days a year (2 weeks)
If it is 90%, this means your child misses 20 days a year (4 weeks)
If it is 85%, this means your child misses 30 days a year (6 weeks)
If it is 80%, this means your child misses 40 days a year (8 weeks)
Every day that your child is off school is a day of missed learning. This can have a serious impact on their future opportunities.

A new workshop for parents started today, run by our Family Team. 'Starting Right' promotes a healthy lifestyle - helping families step into a healthier future. We hope that by working together we can help families offer the best start in life for their children.
Today, those who attended made lovely Butternut Squash, Carrot and Red Lentil Soup - which was made without any Salt and tasted still fantastic.

Children in year 5 received a visit from some staff at the Swattenden Centre today, and took part in some OAA (Outdoor and Adventurous Activities) and Team Building tasks.
The children had a lot of fun.
