• Thanet Primary Schools Cross Country

  Well done to all of our children who took part in the Thanet Primary Schools Cross Country event at Quex Park this morning. All of the children tried their very best and looked amazing in their new Sports Kit!

• Year 5 visit to the Spitfire Museum & MOD Base, Manston

  Children in year 5 have visited the Spitfire Museum in Manston as part of their World War 2 topic. They also had the opportunity to visit the MOD base in Manston and take part in a traditional PE lesson under the close scrutiny of Corporal Burniston.

  

• Thanet Passport Gymnastics Festival

  Children from year 2 took part in the Thanet Passport gymnastics festival at Callis Grange today. The children looked amazing in their Drapers Mills Sports Kits and had a great time. Thank you to Mr Askew and Mrs Collins for coaching our team.

  

• Staff Treadmill Challenge

  A huge thank you to all of our staff who took part in the treadmill challenge today to help Mr Stacey run the London Marathon and raise funds for the NSPCC.

• Rainbow Room visit to Margate Fire Station

  The children from our Rainbow Room went to Margate Fire station this morning as they are learning about people who help us and the emergency services that we use.

   

  The children (and staff) had a brilliant time.

  Children's Mental Health week at Drapers Mills Primary School started off with an assembly for the whole school.

   

  We are taking the overarching statement, 'Spread a Little Kindness' into classes, to consider how we can show kindness to others.
