Check out our amazing contribution to this year’s Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s Church in Margate.
Entitled ‘An alternative Christmas’, the tree has been designed and made by the children in our Christmas Crafts University session this term.
The tree, and many others can be seen at St John’s until the 8th December.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Thanet Lions Club President, Steve Carley, in with us today for our Monday Assembly. Steve explained the work that Thanet Lions do to raise funds, both for local organisations and for those who need support across the globe.
He was delighted to present a cheque to the school for £1486.40 which represents some of the funds which were raised during the summer from the Boot Fairs held on our field.
These funds will be spent directly on raising standards within our school by providing our children with new reading books.
Thanks again to Steve and all at the Thanet Lions for the good work they do.
We are ecstatic to announce that we are progressing to the semi-final after a 5-3 victory after extra time.
