Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
A celebration of some of the fantastic things the children did in school last week.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the year 6 transition day to the children's new Secondary schools (originally scheduled for the 8th July) will no longer be taking place. This is because the Secondary schools will not be able to keep the children in their Primary School bubbles, increasing the risk that they may make 'close contact' with someone from another school who may be asymptomatic and then return to school and put others at risk.
The only exception to this is for those children who will be starting at Hartsdown in September. Because of the large number of children going to Hartsdown from Drapers Mills, they are able to ensure that our children can stay together and not come in contact with children from other primary schools - ensuring the bubbles can remain intact. The date, however, has been changed to Monday 19th July. Parents of children going to Hartsdown in September will be contacted directly to give further information.
We will share any further information as we get it but until then the children will continue to receive visits from staff at their chosen Secondary schools to support the transition process.

A massive well done to our attendance award winners this week.

A polite REMINDER to all parents that the school PE kit consists of a red polo shirt, black shorts or jogging bottoms & plimsolls /trainers. These items can be purchased cheaply from any major supermarket chain.
A school jumper or cardigan can also be worn on colder days.
Track suits, hoodies, football shirts or other items of casual clothing should not be worn on PE days as they are not part of the school uniform.
Thank you.
