The children's artwork was created following the theme 'The Simple Pleasures of Life'. Our skills on show included painting, drawing, collage, origami and printmaking - well done to all of the children who exhibited over the weekend!
Gifted and talented artists from Year 5 & 6 visited The Garden Gate Project Community Garden in Cliftonville.
They enjoyed exploring the butterfly garden, pond area and greenhouses and even got to sample some wild rocket!
Their aim was to begin mapping the garden using needle and thread as part of their ongoing geography and art project.

Members of our School Council were fortunate to be invited to the Celebration of Mayor Making at the Winter Gardens this week when they welcomed the new Mayor of Margate, Rosamund Dixon, into her role.
They had an amazing time and received a lovely letter from the Mayor's office praising them for their conduct and appearance.
We are so very proud of them.
Many thanks to Mrs Williams for giving up her evening and accompanying teh children to the event.
Well done to our year 5 and 6 Rugby team for representing Italy at the Rugby Festival organised by the Thanet Primary Association for School Sport.
Thank you to Mr Stacey and Mr Comber for giving up their Saturday morning to accompany the children.
Homemade biscuits and juice were a particular highlight - many thanks to Franca and Dario at 101 for having us!
Thank you to Mrs Comber for organising the visit.
