    Wed 07 Mar 2018

Children, parents and members of staff attended the POW! Thanet Opening Night, to celebrate 100 years since the women's vote. Charlie and Skye's designs were on sale to the public, in the form of t-shirts and bags. Their designs started off as mono-prints, which were then screen printed onto the products by printmaking artist Fiona De Bulat from DBA Editions in Ramsgate.

A great time was had by all!

  • School Closure due to adverse weather conditions

    Thu 01 Mar 2018

I have made the decision to close the school because of the adverse weather conditions and the impact the weather may have on the safety of our children and their parents coming into school.

The forecast for tomorrow is not promising and I cannot guarantee that circumstances will change for the better. To ensure that staff, children and their parents do not put themselves at risk in making an effort to come in, I have also decided that school will be closed tomorrow as well - giving everyone affected advance notice.

I apologise to anyone who is inconvenienced by this decision but hope you appreciate that the safety of our whole school community is of the upmost importance.

    Thank you all.

    Joe Manclark

    Headteacher
