Children in Key Stage 2 were fortunate to participate in an 'Extreme Rounders/Kwik Cricket Intra-House Competition' last week. Some fantastic technical and tactical skills were on show and all the children participated respectfully and fairly.
It was great to see that the school values are being demonstrated through sport as leadership, endeavour and enjoyment were paramount throughout.
Congratulations to the Winning Houses:
Year 6 - Northern Ireland
Year 5 - Wales
Year 4 - England
Year 3 - Wales

There was an eruption of applause and excitement when Drapers Mills were announced the winners of the Thanet Primary Schools FA Cup at the Super Saturday tournament at the weekend. 35 schools competed in one of the biggest football festivals in the county and the team from Drapers Mills ran out eventual winners of one of the competitions.
They played a total of 8 games: winning 5, drawing 1 and losing 2. A determined performance and a wonder strike from Kieran Quittenden was enough to give Drapers a 2-0 win in the final game and secure the silverware! Mr Lamprell (Head of PE) beamed, "I am so proud of the boys! Even in the hammering rain they showed fantastic leadership and a desire to never give up and overcome some tough opponents and win an amazing trophy!"
Highlights of their success was shown on Match of the Day on Saturday and can be seen here.
