  • History of Drapers Mills day

    Thu 30 Mar 2017

Mrs Williams and our School Council organised a day to celebrate the history of Drapers Mills School, which took place today. The children were shown old photos of the school and how it had changed over the years and artifacts for them to discuss how it would have been like to be a pupil here in the past.

The children also had an opportunity to speak with Mr Jones, an ex-teacher at the school, and Mr Stacey’s dad, Malcolm, who was a former pupil. They had many interesting and funny stories to tell.

The children celebrated the day by releasing one balloon for each class into the air.

A huge thanks to Mrs Williams and the School Council for organising such a wonderful event.
