• Bunnings Community Involvement Programme

  A huge thank you to the kind community volunteers from Bunnings Warehouse for coming into school today to paint our Sea Monkey's Hut. 

   

  Bunnings Warehouse is a leading Australian retailer with a long history of working in local communities across Australia and New Zealand. 

   

  Our new Bunnings Warehouse store is due to be opened at the current Homebase site in Westwood. We wish them all the very best of luck and look forward to being associated with them in the years to come.

  

• 100% attendance

  A massive well done to all of our children who had 100% attendance for the WHOLE YEAR. They were rewarded today with a trip to Howletts Animal Park, near Canterbury.

  

• Head Boy and Head Girl

  We are delighted to announce that the children in school have elected Leo and Aleksandra to be our Head Boy and Girl for the next academic year. Liam and Madeliene will be Deputy Head Boy and Girl.

   

  Well done to all seventeen children who put their names forward for the position and showed they were capable of leadership around school. Their skills will be put to good use next year. 

  

• Children's Art Competition

  St John the Baptist – Margate

  CHILDREN’S ART COMPETITION

  There is an Art Exhibition at St.John the Baptist Church, Margate from 9^th to 12^th September. There will be a competition for children of a painting or drawing of an activity that happened during their Summer Holiday. There are 2 age groups, 5 – 7 years and 8 – 11 years. The size will be A4.

   

  Please bring entries to your school office by Thursday 7^th September so that they can be judged on Friday 8^th September. All entries will be displayed during the exhibition and the winners will receive a prize. On the back of the picture please put the Name, Age, School and contact number of the child.

• Summer Fair

  We had such an amazing time at our summer fair this morning. Thank you to everybody who organised, helped or attended. It was a huge success.

   

  The PTFA have raised £956 for the school.

  All of our children from years 1 to 6 have voted for who they want to be Head Boy and Head Girl next year.

   

  We have 17 candidates from our current year 5 - 10 girls and 7 boys.
