• Visitors in Shooting Stars!

  For the past few weeks, the Shooting Stars have been learning about different jobs. We were very lucky to have two visitors in. One was a vet and the other was a tree surgeon!

   The children enjoyed asking these visitors lots questions and learning about the equipment!

   

  

• The History Detectives

  The History Detectives Group have been studying a course called angels, elephants, clowns and murder.  Over two terms, the children have cracked clues using maps, the internet, satellite images, old newspapers and photos and finally revealed the story of the Sanger family in Margate.  On Friday, we visited the Sanger family graves to round off all that we had learned.  Brilliant skills displayed by all of the children and lots of knowledge gained on old Margate!

  

• Yr 6 Science Jamboree

  Year 6 had a fantastic time today at Pfizers for the Science Jamboree. We explored planes, trains, tomatoes, new innovations, engineering and solved a Victorian murder in the case of Penelope Treadloaf! Lots of learning, but lots of fun!

  

• The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

  Chichester class had a brilliant time dressing up as characters from The Wizard of Oz and acting out the story. It was great fun!
