The importance of laws whether they are those that govern the class, the school or the country, are consistently reinforced in all aspects of school life.

Our school has ‘School Values’, which are deeply embedded in our learning every day.

These School Values are clearly understood by all and seen to be necessary to ensure that every class member has the right to learn in a safe and ordered environment whilst making our learning fun

Our pupils are taught the value and reasons behind laws, that they govern and protect us to keep us safe. This would include the responsibilities that it involves and the consequences when laws are broken.

During their time at school, children have the opportunity to interact in a positive way with our school  community through having  a voice.

This would include assemblies, workshops and activities through the School Council, Head Pupils in Year 6 and adults in our environment.
