Thanet Lions

We had a visit from some lovely people from the Thanet Lions this morning in assembly. The Lions Clubs International, are an organisation of volunteers who organise events to raise money for local communities. Amongst other things, the Thanet Lions hold Boot Fairs on our school field during the spring/summer months. Today, they gave the school a 'large' cheque for £1,126.08, which is a proportion of the money they raised from the Boot Fairs. 

We thank the Thanet Lions for their generosity and will be asking the children what they would like to spend the money on.
