Having being rained off yesterday, Key Stage 1 finally managed to have their sports day this morning. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and many parents turned up to watch their children take part in a number of running, throwing and jumping events.
All children put in a lot of effort and showed many of our school values whilst trying to win the Key Stage 1 Sports Day shield. Everybody deserved to win for the effort they put in and many stickers were handed out to all participants. However, there can be only one winner of the shield, which was won this year by Northern Ireland.
Thank you to all parents who came along to watch their children - they really did enjoy their mini-Olympics.
