The health and welfare of our pupils and staff is a priority and as we have received some questions about coronavirus, we felt it would be useful to issue this information letter.
The Academy is closely following advice and guidance from Public Health England and the Academy will remain open and operating as normal. If your child is well they should continue to attend as usual. Should this situation change in the future you will be notified accordingly.
The latest accurate information on coronavirus (COVID-19), including the current situation in the UK and details about the virus and its symptoms, can be found at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/. The website is updated when new information is available.
The risk to individuals in the UK remains low. The current national guidance is that if you have arrived to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Northern Italy, or Macau within the last 14 days, and are experiencing cough or fever or shortness of breath (even if the symptoms are mild) you should:
