Lunchtime and After School Clubs
Extra Curricular Provision at Drapers Mills
At Drapers Mills we believe in the holistic development of the child and that learning does not stop at lunch or home time. We currently offer a number of after school clubs to enrich and engage with children in areas outside of the curriculum.
We have developed very strong links with the wider community and have a good relationship with the local Police Force, Margate football club, Margate Cricket Club, Arsenal Soccer School, Master Wolf Tae-Kwon-Do Academies and the Thanet Primary Schools Association for School Sport, all of whom support the running of these clubs.

Children in Key Stage 1 have the opportunity to participate in the following clubs and events:
- Build a Gruffalo - arts and crafts
- ICT
- Singing
- Construction Club

At present a child in Key Stage 2 has the opportunity to participate in the following clubs:

The Future
We are constantly looking to increase the number of extra curricular activities that we offer our children. We are hoping to offer golf and taekwondo in the near future but would welcome any suggestions for extra curricular activities.
