Year 5 Music Workshops at Chatham House & Clarendon Grammar School
On Friday some of our Year 5 children were given the fantastic opportunity to visit Chatham House Grammar School in Ramsgate for a music workshop. The children were able to learn how to play a variety of unusual instruments, such as Djembe drums, xylophones and the steel pans (this also involved a little bit of dancing which caused much hilarity!). We also used a computer programme called MAGIX to compose our own tunes.
The children displayed all our school values, especially Endeavour, Enjoyment and Respect and were amazing ambassadors for our school.
