Dear Parents,
We have been made aware of a member of our school community in Year 3, who have tested positive for COVID 19.
We have contacted Public Health England (PHE) for advice. The person in question is not symptomatic and has not been in school for a number of days prior to the positive test result. We have therefore been advised by PHE that we should not close the Year 3 bubble.
The school remains open and your child should continue to attend as normal if they remain well.
We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with PHE. This communication is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child. Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
