Please support your child by learning these words at home.

Essential Information for year 6 pupils

 

PE days: Monday and Thursday

              Please ensure you child has a pair of shorts and a T-shirt for indoor PE on a Monday and a t-shirt, shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a pair of trainers for Games on a Thursday.  All kit to be named please and in a bag so that it stays all together.

 

Swimming: Tuesday

             We are hoping to be offering swimming lessons to year 6 pupils as part of the PE National Curriculum.  Pupils will bring a letter home about this.  Kit will be needed, which is purchasable from the school office; swimming hat, costume (girls) or trunks (boys) which are close fitting and a towel.

 

Uniform:

            Pupils will be reminded if they do not come to school in our school uniform. It is important that they are wearing a tie and that their shoes are not trainers.  Thank you for your support with this

 

Homework:

            Homework will be issued regularly linked to reading, spelling, multiplication tables and topics.  We will also be setting activities to complete on Education City linked to our learning.  If you have any queries about homework please talk to your class teacher in the first instance.
