Monday 11th January 2016
Happy New Year to you all. The new term has started and the children are already excited about the new topics and texts they are focusing on in their learning. Race for Reading has begun and certificates were handed out to some KS2 children in celebration assembly on Friday. This means they can start collecting Drapers Dollars and if they wish exchange them for items in the Race for Reading shop. Keep encouraging your children to read daily as they will benefit in so many ways and develop a passion for reading a variety of books and authors.
If you are stuck for book choices take a look at the staff book review page on the website and try a recommended book or author.
Happy reading
