Attendance

Our attendance percentage this week is 86.9% but we know we can do much better. We aim to get even higher next week. We can do it Wombats!

Star of the Week!

Our star of the week is Natasha for fantastic behaviour!

Topic

Our term 6 topic is all about Animals and Sea Creatures

This week we have been learning about different animals and exploring dinosaurs. We have enjoyed using playdough to create our own sea creatures. We have researched about dinosaurs and thought about what it was like in the past.

Mathematics

This week in Maths children have been playing splat to help them recognise numbers, some children are now using a numberline to jump to different numbers. All children have been engaged and excited during their practical Maths sessions. We have groups recognising numbers, naming shapes and ordering numbers.

Literacy

This week in Literacy we have been focusing on the story The Rainbow Fish. Children have enjoyed reading this story and thinking about sharing just like the rainbow fish does within the story. I am so proud of all the progress we have made in Literacy, we are all using our phonic knowledge to help us write key words or sentences. We have our first three Wombats attempting full stops, usually in the right places. We are very happy and many stickers and certificates have been given out this week.
